The American manufacturer of Swiss watches
The original American Hamilton watch company was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1982. The company has been manufacturing high-quality watches that are characterised by functional elements and a distinctive classic design ever since. Once Hamilton had established itself as a supplier to the railway and aviation industry, the brand went on to become the most important watch supplier of American forces during the Second World War.
Following the quartz crisis of the 1970s, Hamilton company policy underwent significant changes. Today, Hamilton headquarters are located in Biel, Switzerland. The timepiece produced by the company combine internationally renowned Swiss quality with classic American designs and call out to watch lovers on both sides of the Atlantic.
Hamilton watches have already made a grand entrance on the silver screen. Among many others, the main character in the film Interstellar sports a Cooper Hamilton Khaki Pilot Day Date on his wrist.
